Uka
Uka
(also spelled Uka-Uka)
Uka Uka (ウカウカ)
Classification: Spirit
Gender: Male
Kind: Evil
Uka Uka,
otherwise referred to as "The Great Uka
Uka", is Aku Aku's younger evil twin brother. Like Aku Aku, his spirit
communicates through a special mask. He is the opposite of his brother:
angry, malicious and pure evil. He is Dr. Cortex's ever-so-frustrated
master,
who keeps losing his patience because of his lackey's constant failure. Uka Uka is also good friends with Dr. Nefarious
Tropy,
who is very loyal to him.
Long ago, Uka Uka tried to take over the
World by growing a giant tree with which to do evil. Despite his efforts, Aku Aku locked
him up in a temple prison, and he stayed there for eons. Cortex eventually
stumbled upon his prison, and from deep inside, Uka Uka gave him instructions for conquering the World. However,
after Cortex failed to do so for a second time, he accidentally opened
that prison and released Uka Uka to do evil in the World once again. Aku Aku and Uka Uka have the same
basic strength. Although they don't get along (mostly on Uka Uka's part), they will
team up if it's absolutely necessary, such as having to fight a greater
force.

Crash
3/CTR/Bash/XS/N-Tranced
Voiced by: Clancy Brown (Crash 3 and CTR)/
Uncredited (Crash Bash)
Ryûzaburô Ôtomo (Crash 3, CTR and Crash Bash in Japan)
The original Uka Uka model.
In Crash Bandicoot 3, Uka Uka has a much deeper voice than in any other
game, and his evilness peaks here too. Also in the same game, a second
model is used (see below).
A noseless and inferior model is used in the mini-game Manic Panic.

Crash
3 (Cortex boss fight)
This is a lower-res model used in Cortex's boss fight, to avoid
slowdowns caused by too many polygons on-screen. His face animates, as
shown in the fight's intro when the player hasn't collected all the Gems. |

Crash
Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
Voiced by: Clancy Brown/Ryûzaburô Ôtomo (Japan)
Uka is wider, with rounder eyes, a slightly smaller nose and a wider,
browner beard. The stripe on his forehead is also slightly changed, and
the teeth aren't as pointy as they used to be. |

Crash
Nitro Kart
Voiced by: Clancy Brown/Ryûzaburô Ôtomo (Japan)
Uka's eyes are now orange with yellow pupils, instead of the usual plain
yellow. The nose is black, and the beard is more like the first model's. |

Crash
Twinsanity
Voiced by: Alex Fernandez/Ryûzaburô Ôtomo (Japan)
Without a doubt the best model to date, it looks like the Naughty Dog
model (the first one), but with much more vibrant colours and detail. The
only noticeable aesthetic differences between this and the Naughty Dog
model are the thinner lips, a smaller nose and a bigger, browner beard.
Also for the first time, the bones on the sides wiggle realistically as he
moves. |

Crash
of the Titans
Voiced by: John DiMaggio
Uka Uka bears little to no visual resemblance to his previous self,
so a comparison is not possible.
His name was changed to or misspelled as Uka-Uka here.

Bang! (cameo)
Uka Uka doesn't actually have a role in this game, but he is a
purchasable item. His appearance was changed to that of his Japanese
counterpart. |
