Fake
Crash is a mysterious bandicoot who is known to appear in very random places. As the name implies, he looks like an imitation of Crash
Bandicoot, though there are some key differences (such as huge eyebrows
and teeth). He has a rather goofy voice and personality.
Note: Fake Crash, originally created by Naughty
Dog, was inspired by a cheap Crash toy originated in Japan, with huge eyebrows and teeth. The
team started calling it Trash Bandicoot, and later, Fake Crash. They decided to include him as a goofy extra in Crash
3 and CTR. Soon he became more than a random Easter Egg when he
played a major role in N-Tranced. Fake Crash is one of the series' most
popular characters in Japan, and he is even a playable character in the
Japanese version of Crash Bash.

CTR
(In-Kart)
All in-kart models from CTR are much more polygonal versions than usual, since
8 of the usual character models on screen at the same time would be more than
the PS1 could handle. Fake Crash has differently styled eyebrows here, and
his teeth aren't as large. |

Crash:
Boom, Bang!
Voiced by: Makoto Ishii
CBB was the first Crash game to be developed by a Japanese team. This gave
the characters the looks they've always had in Japanese artwork and
promotions.
Some of the main differences between Japanese and standard Fake Crash are
his Asian eyes, different body proportions (with a very large head) and
different shoes. Like all CBB models, it is cel-shaded, giving it
cartoony visuals. |

Bandicoot Carnival (Japanese Crash Bash)
Voiced by: Kappei Yamaguchi
Fake Crash is a playable character in the Japanese version of Crash
Bash. His model is a slight modification from Crash Bandicoot's (even the
animations are the same). The only changes made were the textures
for the eyes and mouth, different eyebrows and a bigger nose.
