The Elementals
Classifications: Spirit
Genders: Male
Kind: Evil

Several thousands of years ago, the Ancients fought a brave battle against the Elementals- a group of renegade masks who had control and power over the elements of Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Each mask reigned over a specific element and used it to ravage the globe. The Ancients were able to imprison the Elementals through the use of special jewels known as the Elemental Crystals, which put them in a state of hibernation. Each Elemental required 5 Crystals to be put back to his slumber.

The Elementals played a crucial part in one of Dr. Neo Cortex and Uka Uka's plans. Uka Uka released the Elementals, as they would serve as the power source for Crunch Bandicoot, back when he was under Cortex's mind control.

They are currently back in their hibernation state thanks to Crash and Coco, who retrieved the Elemental Crystals.
