Dingodile
Dingodairu (ディンゴダイル)
Classification: Mutant (Dingo + Crocodile)
Gender: Male
Kind: Evil
Height: 2 meters
Weight: 95 kilograms Dingodile
is a mutant created by Dr. Neo Cortex. As the name implies, he is half dingo and half crocodile. He
is a pyromaniac, which is why he always carries his trusty
flamethrower and gas canister with him. Dingodile may seem like an
ordinary henchman, but he is actually one of the most intelligent of Cortex's
mutants. He talks with a distinct Australian accent, and
his hobbies include reading Shakespeare and playing croquet. Originally at
the service of Dr. Cortex, Dingodile now acts on his own free will, even
turning against the doctor if needed. He used to live in a hut placed on a
drifting iceberg (also home to Dr. Cortex's Lab), until it was destroyed
by the fall of a huge snowball, courtesy of Crash and Cortex's trip down
the iceberg. His current residence is unknown.

Bash
Voiced by: Uncredited/Keisuke Ishida (Japan)
The Crash Bash model resembles the previous one, but with less
detail and no change of facial expressions. The ears are down instead of
up; the nostrils are smaller and more separated from each other; he has
more teeth showing (because of the longer upper lip); his toes are more
visible; the cream fur in his palms and the underside of his arms is
gone. He doesn't have the
flamethrower in this game.
In cutscenes, he is shown with thumbs. |

Crash
Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
In The WoC, Dingodile's ears are smaller. His fur is more purplish;
the lower lip is now the same size as the upper lip again; he has new pants; toe
nails are now more visible and pointier; the flamethrower has more
checkered squares in it (as well as a greener colour); the gas canister on his
back is much bigger, green and has the fire symbol on sideways, instead of
in the back (also, the checkered pattern is wider). |

Crash
Bandicoot: XS
This model is based off of the Naughty Dog one. The flamethrower isn't
checkered anymore, and Dingodile always wears a pair of swim trousers, due
to the circumstance in his boss fight. |

Crash Nitro Kart
Voiced by: Dwight Schultz/Hajime Iijima (Japan)
In comparison to The WoC, Dingodile has browner fur again. His eyes
turned green (or blue in the GBA version); the nostrils are bigger; the
teeth are a bit shorter; he has a new pair of yellow trousers with belt;
the tail is much spikier. |

Twinsanity
Voiced by: Dwight Schultz/Hajime Iijima (Japan)
Dingodile got a whole remodeling in Twinsanity. His fur is of a dark
brown; the ears are even smaller; his eyes are yellow with red pupils; he
seems a little fatter; he teeth are smaller; gus hands are cream-coloured;
there's a new pair of blue
trousers and a different belt; the gas canister on his back resembles the old
Naughty Dog one, but now it has an electronic display attached on the top;
the flamethrower has lights on it.
His face looks like the one seen in Crash 3's time vortex (see
below). |

Crash
of the Titans (DS version)
Voiced by: Nolan North
As this is a 3D model for a Nintendo DS game, it appears more
polygonal than usual.
Dingodile looks sort of similar to how he did in Twinsanity,
but with a few differences. His fur is of a lighter hue, and his
tail has the same colour as it. His ears aren't so close to
each other anymore, and his eyes are white and much smaller. Though
similar to the usual gas canister and flamethrower, he is actually
carrying a water tank on his back and wielding a water gun (perhaps
a modification to his old weapon). His pants are of a different kind of blue and his toe nails
are larger.

CTR
(In-Kart)
All in-kart models from CTR are much more polygonal versions than usual, since
8 of the usual character models on screen at the same time would be more than
the PS1 could handle. He has black oval spots on his back fur here. |
